Brasil Nut...
Hi!
I have been reading some of your replys and I was just wondering could you please help me with my trip?
I have topped my two post, one is called Help...and the other startes with Dream Trip... and if you click on my name both should come up.
Thank you, either way.
My Best,
Oaktown Traveler

Hi...if you are referring to last night's posts (2/24) those were written by my husband, who has gone to bed! I will tell him of your request tomorrow (2/26). He really needs his own identity here, tee-hee....maybe Brasil Nut II. We both love Brasil, but I think you like his writing style. Great way to grab our attention with this post!

Thank You Wife of Brasil Nut!
Has he gotten out of bed yet?
No worries...I'll wait. HA-HA!!!
I took a chance being so "personal" on this Latin America Board. While this board is very good you do not get to "chat, drift and play" like on the USA or Europe Boards...so thank you for not getting "upset" with me.

Hi-I registered him today at this site, under 'Brasil Nut II'. Yes, he is out of bed as of 5:30 this a.m. and off to work. I will get him here this evening, before he falls asleep!
I'm a newbie to computer land...I wasn't offended in the least by your Brasil Nut Post, thought it was pretty clever as it got my attention! Ok, what is drift and play...or is that too hard to explain?
Sheesh, after all this build-up here, I hope he is able to help you with your other 2 posts! Thanks for the laugh

Hope you can get this before meeting with the girls. I would suggest the following: Iguassu Falls; Manuas; Salvador and a jungle lodge--how long were you planning to be on this dream trip?? Our first trip was almost a month with 3 weeks flying the country. We wished we had stayed a little longer at some of our stops-and the country is so large travel to each destination usually ate up a whole day. I made our air reservations with a Brasil Air Pass, which must be done prior to going to Brasil. We actually had our hotel reservations made through a friend after our arrival in Brasil. Don't know for sure if that was cheaper than doing it here but we stayed in 4 & 5 star hotels and didn't seem to pay more than $100 per night; and each stop included 1 or 2 excursions. Maybe we should email off this site(is that a good idea security wise??)

Brasil Nut Wife:
Many thanks...your the best!
Drift and Play is when the travel posters add personality, humor, excitement, passion, endless details, experiences and sometimes harmless debates getting and giving great travel advice.
I have gotten some excellent details and ideas and I thank everybody who bothered to reply...really!
The Fodor Latin American Boards are more straight and to the point provididng excellent information but lacking travel passion IMHO.
Basil Nut Husband: THANK YOU!
I meet with the girls every Thursday so no worries...
I will send them your suggestions however, right now on a scale of 1 to 10 we are all at about a 4 in terms of moving forward with our trip to South America...
I had envisioned the planning and research for South America to be "wild and exciting", interacting with travelers on these boards who would keep me chomping at the bit!
I thank you. I do not do the e-mail thing...dangerous and my hubby would think that I had lost my mind.
Besides, keeping this on the boards may just help someone else.
Fodor's boards are great in that you can talk and talk and talk about your trip planning etc. on these post for years if you want.
