Best all inclusive with 2 small children?
Could someone give us some direction on the best all inclusives in Mexico for families? We have 2 children who will be 1 & 2 in September. We want a great pool area, a nice beach, with easy access to these areas from the rooms, good food (doesn't have to be gourmet but a good variety is important and choices beyond just a buffet at every meal would be nice). We'd love to also have the option of booking a suite or some sort of larger room (price is not too much of an issue). We would prefer not to have a very long drive from the airport (less than an hour)as the flight alone will be enough travelling for one day for the kids. Babysitting on site would also be great. Thanks for your help!

I have been to quite a few all inclusive resorts with my family, and one of my favorites is Club Med Ixtapa. They have an exceptional kids club (ages 4-12), and they also have a baby club (to age 2)and petit club (ages 2-3). Families can get two connecting rooms; one with a king size bed connected to a room with two single beds. The beach is lovely and there are lots of activities for both kids and adults. Instruction is included for tennis, sailing, kayaking, in line skating, trapeze...the list goes on. I have more info posted at this website: www.geocities.com/familyclubmed
Another great family all-inclusive resort in Mexico is the Gala Resort Playacar (south of Cancun). They do not have a baby club, however. The kids club starts at age 2. Although it does not offer as many activities as Club Med, it has a gorgeous white sand beach and clear turquoise water. I have photos posted at www.geocities.com/galaresortplayacar.
These are my 2 favorite family all-inclusive resorts (so far!)
