Argentina March 18th Confused !!

I need HELP. After spending 3 days in BA March 18th-21 where would you go.....Iguazu falls, Mendoza (Cavas Wine Lodge), Calafate, or Punta del Este in Uruguay?

I am totally confused at this point...HELP

It depends on what you are looking for...Iguazu Falls is a jungle with amazing waterfalls, Mendoza, you drink wine and go to the mountains, Calafate, you see the glaciers, Punta del Este, you sit on the beach. Figure out your interests and the rest will fall into place.

I actually would love to do it all but know that is impractical. After From what I gather Punta Del Este is off season by that time.....Has anyone done any of these thoughts?

If you have time, you could go to the falls for a couple of days and then go to Punta del Este, which is beautiful. Both destinations are a short flight away from Buenos Aires

We made our first trip to Buenos Aires last November. We spent two nights in Puerto Iguazu and visited the falls. It was something we will never forget. The falls are incredible!

We did a day trip by fast ferry to Colonia and wish we had more time there. It is a wonderful, historic city, just the sort of place we really appreciate.

We fell in love with BsAs and three days there wouldn't be enough for us. There is so much to see and do, wonderful food, terrific helpful people, great shopping. We just left a couple of months ago and can't wait to return. On our next visit we will travel to other parts of Argentina, but want to again spend some time in BsAs.

Thank you Giovanni....we only have 8 days in March! I already know I will want more time! We plan on 3 BA then 3 days either in Bariloche or Mendoza and the last 2 days before we fly out back to BA. Any thoughts mid march on Bariloche or Mendoza? I think the weather in Mendoza might be warmer and we are afraid that we won't be able to enjoy the lake in Bariloche because of 50 degree weather. A bit of warmth would be nice coming from the NE. Is Mendoza boring though? Anybody........Thanks.....

Punta del Este in March is a toss up, can be absolutetly beautiful, so if I were you and love to go to the beach, would check the weather and make a last minute decision. Flying between Bue and Punta is of course the best way to go.

How do you book flights? Can you do them the last minute in BA?
