A tour of Mercado La Merced in Mexico City
We arranged a private tour of the Mercado la Merced while we were in Mexico City and really loved it. I think it would have been a bit overwhelming on our own. I also felt more comfortable trying all of the food at the stalls with the guide's help. I couldn't find the thread, but someone had asked about food tours in the capitol. We went with Eat Mexico and were very happy.

Nice photos! Thank you for sharing them here.

I've been toying with the idea of a food tour but I hate being tied down to an itinerary. The tour you took looks good though. Hmm.
