4 star hotels in Cancun

I'm going to Cancun for the first time in November. I will probably try Priceline for booking a hotel since I really have no preference. Are all the "4-star" hotels on the beach? Or is it safer to ask for a "Resort" hotel to ensure that I am on the water? Thanks for your help.

Go to www.biddingfortravel.com

They have all the information you could possibly need to make a good priceline bid.

I would *EXPECT* that hotels at the 4-star level would eb on the beach, but yeah, you should really check the 2 big Priceline strategy sites, biddingfortravel.com and www.betterbidding.com to find out what's what. The latter site is especially good for getting good suggested bidding strategies...

Have fun!

Just make sure you don't end up with the Sheraton! I think that's listed as a 4 star, and it should be ranked lower!

Be careful of the 4 star ratings--for example, Priceline does their own rating and has little real value.
