I think you are confused about what BiddingFortravel is. It's not a place to PURCHASE anything. It's a site to aid users/customers of Priceline.com, who are going to use Priceline to buy anything. You can learn what other people are paying for hotels in a certain city, for example, and what they are paying.

I'm a satisfied Priceline.com customer and have used BFT numerous times.

I never use priceline without first consulting BFT - it's that valuable.

Ditto. It's the only smart thing to do before you enter a bid on P'line - gives you a ballpark idea of what's likely to succeed (or not). Also valuable is the listing of what hotels are likely to come up in each star-category. Occasionally, there is such a negative review of a particular lodging that you may want to alter your bidding strategy around it. (Although we have used Pricline for years and have had a negative experience only the single time that I went lower than a 2.5* property).

Note that if you bid for a hotel lower than 2.5 stars with Priceline, you could still be "upgraded" to a 2.5 star (or higher) if you bid for a lower rating. I've been upgraded to 3-star hotels a few times when bidding for 2-star or 2.5-star hotels.
