Would like to hire a personal tour guide to see Tuscany

My husband and I will be traveling with our 3 children to Italy in December. We would like to hire someone to drive us and tour the Tuscany/Florence area. Any suggestions?

There are several at this agency so you can specify your prefernces. Paolo, the director, speaks perfect English.

Bordelons, we used Country Tours based in Siena to tour the Tuscan country side. We were very satified. Our trip was about five years ago but their web site is still active. You should have many options in December since that would be the low season.

I can recommend Luca Garapa of Hills and Roads. We have spent several very pleasant days with Luca over the course of our last three visits to Italy and were very happy with his professionalism, knowledge of the area and personality.

Another enthusiastic vote for Luca Garrapa. There are many on this board who have used his services and highly recommend him. He has many options for tours of Tuscany and he is very skilled, intelligent and courteous. He is also a safe and good driver. Check his web site for more information :

We've used Luca of Hillsandroads 3 times over the past 8 years, my daughter and son in law spent part of their honeymoon with him, I have at least 25 friends that have used him and we are using him again this coming summer. Enough said?
