We used the website www.apartmentbudapest.hu to rent the club studio lux. Although that particular apt. would not be suitable for 4 people, I'm sure you'd find something larger on this website. Our apt. was well located just one block off Vaci Utca and within walking distance of most sites including the Central Market Hall, which is a must see. There were several apts. in the same bldg, some may have been larger. Since it was just my daughter and I alone, we felt very secure in our bldg. A nice extra was having internet access right in our apt. Also, the rental office was located next to our apt. allowing us easy access for getting directions and recommendations for restaurants, etc.
We did the baths at the Gellert Hotel with massages for an extremely reasonable price. We absolutely loved Budapest.
