Whoa! What happened to my post?
I posted a message a couple of hours ago, trying to make light of how some posters judge people by how often they post. Perhaps I didn't word it carefully enough--I apologize if it was offensive to anyone. I didn't get to see any of the responses--what happened? Again I didn't mean any harm. I see some people ridicule very helpful posters for "posting too much" and I was just trying to make light of how we all set this standard of what's acceptable, in many areas of our lives, and any deviation from that standard is incomprehensible.

If someone says someone else is "posting too much" then obviously they love being some sort of bean counter...and I just figured out that because they are monitoring the number of other people's responses that is why when you call the airlines you have to wait 20 minutes for them to answer...the reservationist(s) is/are busy posting on this board!!!!

I saw it before it was deleted, and jnew it would be gone as soon as fodors saw it. It was just asking for ad hominem mudslinging. At either the "judgers" or the "judgees".
Even this post can and probably will be deleted.
Fodors intends for the board to be about travel - - they more or less say so in Question numero uno of their FAQs - - http://www.fodors.com/forums/faqs.cfm#Q1A - - and that does not include (as a subject matter) how the participants on this board conduct themselves, as I interpret their views.
Best wishes,
Rex
