Where is St. Cirq?

Where is St. Cirq? She has been around for ages. I hope she is OK. Has anyone heard from her?

Hi Thin, darling, I guess the sun is already over the yardarm where you live. A little detective work on my part indicates StCirq posted this morning, so I presume all is well.

Hi, Thin:

Just happened to check in for the first time in ages.

I've had two elderly parents in two separate hospitals on opposite sides of town for a month now, and more near-death experiences than I would have thought possible with both of them. I've been BUSY!

With luck I'll be able to come back and post again in the near future. I do miss my Fodors!

Thanks for checking in, St. Cirq. I've missed you too. Sorry to hear you're going through a "rough patch," as my British friends say. Take good care.

StCirq, I'm so sorry to hear that. I will hope for the best. You must be worn to a frazzle -- don't forget to take care of yourself.

ThinGorgeous... isn't this nice!? See? We are like a family.
Are you set for Sicily?

I wondered as well, earlier this week, figured she was over there...over the pond

When times get tough, sit back, take a deep breathe and picture yourself in the Dordogne
Wishing you all the best~

Dear St Cirq,

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I have been through your situation and know just how emotionally and physically draining it is. You appear to be a very giving person, just take care of yourself too.

There's nothing more precious than children who come to the aid of their parents when age and health make it necessary. God bless you and your family, StCirq.

just saw Mellen's post! Hoping all goes well, being older I went through those heart wrenching times several years back.
That's the worst part of being grown-up
the fear of losing our loved parents.

Sorry to hear about your troubles, St. Cirq. I had a very bad time of it a few months ago, but I won't bore you with the details. I am not one to be maudlin.

Yes, Suzie, we are like a family--the Borgias.

Some of us are more like the Mansons, I'm afraid.

St. Cirq, so sorry to hear about your recent troubles. I do hope things will get better soon. You are always so helpful with your posts. I sure have appreciated your help with my up-coming trip in May to the Dordogne.

Hi StCirq,

I remember you posted you wouldn't make it to France in March due to your father's surgery. I feared it hadn't gone well since you've been absent.

I sincerely hope the best for you and your family.

You have many readers even among those who have never addressed their comments or posts or questions to you directly. Hang in there. TG

St. Cirq, I would like to add my best wishes to you. My parents are still OK, but a few years ago I was assisting my mom in caring for my grandmother. It's a lot harder than anyone can imagine unless you've been there. Good luck.
