Which hyatt in paris?

I have the choice of staying at the
Hyatt Regency Paris - Madeleine or Park Hyatt Paris-Vendome with points. I am taking my husband for a surprise weekend. We went to paris on our honeymoon 15 years ago and always wanted to go back. This is the 1st time we will be away without out children and I am not sure which place we should stay. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Vendome will cost you more points but worth it.
Book your room before all the standard rooms (available on points) are allocated or consider using extra points to upgrade to a suite.

Vendome and Madeleine cost the same number of points. I've stayed at the Vendome twice, most recently last week, and love it. I've not stayed at the Madeleine to compare but in general I think the Vendome gets better reviews.

Patty is right; they are both category 6 hotels.
Madeleine was upgraded from a cat 5 to 6 in the summer 2010.
