Which City Has Better Sights ?

Hello:
We are using Royal Scottish tours and will stay at either Edinburgh or Glasgow (our choice) in a pre-picked hotel for 2 nights. Which city is preferential for sight-seeing?? Is one easier than the other to get around by foot or bus?? More things to see?? Thank-you for any advice. Sincerely, Ilonka

Just a suggestion that perhaps you would like to repost this question with the names of the two cities in the heading also.

llonka,

Definitely Edinburgh. Glasgow has a lot going for it (especially the shopping) but Edinburgh has more of the sights that I'd imagine a first-time visitor would want to see.
