Which Accommodations in Rome? Please Assist
Greetings. This will be my first time visiting Rome. I will be traveling with my 10 year old child. We will be there for one week and plan to visit all of the historical sites and take a day trip to Florence. I am trying to decide between the following two apartments. One is in the Termini area http://www.flatinrome.it/flatinrome-termini-en.htm (Apartment A) and the other is near the Vatican www.sweetescape.it Both have received good reviews. The first has wifi available at an extra charge. The second is 100 euros less. I could go with either. Is one location better than the other?

Calling the via Aurelia location "near the Vatican" is a bit of a stretch.
The via degli Irpini location is on the far side of Termini from the historical center of the city.
Neither of these locations is particularly central. You will have to take transportation virtually every time you leave either location to visit the historic sights. Have you looked at the locations in street view on Googlemaps? That may help you to decide.

I would stay in the apartment near Termini if I had to choose one. It is much closer to the main sites of Rome than the apartment near the Vatican.
Neither apartment is in an ideal location, but the apartment near the Vatican is really in the sticks.
Honestly, I would look for another apartment choice.
