Where would you go for two days near Basel?

maybe go direct to colmar the first night. enjoy colmar and then go to your convenient basel hotel before the cruise.
However, there is more to do in basel, but if you don't feel like exploring basel in more depth.. that's just up to you. You won't be disappointed either way, so , just have fun planning it all!
