where heathrow is heathrow express?

I've gone to heathrow's website and the heathrow express website, but can't find any indication of where I catch the heathrow express.

The schedule just indicates times for trains leaving from or arriving at "terminal 1, 2, 3." Does that mean the train arrives and departs from somewhere central to all three?

Thanks.

Jim

Jim, Once you exit the customs area just follow the signs. It's very well marked, and central to all three. You can buy your ticket with a credit card from the machines near the station.

And you can buy it on the train, including in US dollars i believe. Yes unified terminal that is quite a walk from arrivals in each. Many folks find that airport buses or mini-buses go more to where they want to go at comparable prices.

The express leave from all 4 terminals. Very well signposted. You can purchase your ticket on line and save 1 pound! Yor are given a receipt number and when you arrive you put this number into the ticket machine..out comes your ticket! You can also buy them at the machine at each of the terminals, they cost more if you purchase on the express itself from the guard.

another thought, where is your destination? The express only goes to Paddington Station (cost 12 pounds). It mat be easier to catch the Piccadilly line (longer trip) to other areas of London (zone 1-6 around 6 pounds for day card) Or catch the national express bus to Victoria Coach station (around 10 pounds).
