Does Heathrow Terminal 5 Tube station have a ticket office?

I'm trying to help a colleague taking a group through Heathrow this summer. Is there a manned ticket office downstairs at the tube station at Terminal 5? He will be buying tickets for a group of 18 and also will need to buy tickets for a return trip to Heathrow the next day to avoid standing in lines before the trip back to the airport.

I saw what I think was a Heathrow Express ticket desk in the international arrivals hall when i was there last month. Is that where he would buy regular travelcards and the one-tickets for the next day or is there another ticket window down in the station? (I have always used a car service and have not been through the Terminal 5 tube station.) I want him to be able to speak with someone and not have to use a machine.

thanks for your help.

There's a ticket office for Heathrow Express/Connect. The TfL website seems a bit coy about what facilities the tube station has, but you could always ask them directly.

Thank you so much. I had looked at all the terminal 5 and TFL maps I could find but finally this got to the info I need:

From the national rail link you gave I was able to find a map (link below) which shows that there are NOT any ticket counters down in the station, only machines.

So I will advise him to buy tickets at the counter in the arrivals hall.

Am I right in assuming he can buy tickets at Heathrow in advance for the next day's return trip to Heathrow? (I've never bought a single fare ticket or a travelcard except on the day I am traveling or for a 7 day period.)

I'm confused. Are they taking the Heathrow Express/connect train service or the tube?

The tube sells tube tickets, yes they have a maned ticket office.

The Express/connect sells tickets only for their services.
