In my 'first life,' was a born and raised Chicagoan -- a true city rat, not suburbs, living on the northside, first near Lincoln Park/Old Town and later a few miles north. Five and a half years ago, we tossed over the city life and headed for the country - now live in rural northeast Wisconsin and love it.
