What's your preference? Early September or early October for a trip to Turkey?
Now that I have my 2006 Europe trip planned I am starting to think about 2007...I know it's a curse, but I love to travel!
I'm considering going to Turkey either in early September or early October of 2007. I've checked out a few weather websites and found that I would be ok with either month based on the averages and historical weather information I found.
But I'd like to hear from anyone who has been to Turkey in September or October and get your feedback as to if you liked traveling in that month or if you've been there during both months which you preferred more and why? Weather or other travel related comments on Turkey in September and October are welcome!
Thanks for any information you can share.

In 2004 I was in Turkey on the route you are choosing from the last week in September until the middle of October. The weather was beautiful & much warmer than I expected! My trip ended in Istanbul & it finally got cool there. Be sure to take the hot-air balloon ride in Cappadocia! It was terrific!
