What's up with the micromedia flash player
For some reason, and on the Fodor's site only, I keep getting pop-up warnings that something called micromedia flash player is trying to do something dangerous. Does anybody know how I can stop this? It's very irritating, and I'm wondering if it has anything to do with those weird pop-up ads that spread over the screen when I inadvertently move my cursor over them (although the box comes up even when I haven't moved my mouse).

Thanks ira. I have both a Yahoo popup blocker and another one, and so it seems that instead of ads popping up, I get a popup that says I've been protected! Can't win for losing, I guess; I just close the box like you do, LoveItaly. Often, problems like this seem to just go away after a while, which is hardly a proactive stance, but it's one I think I'll adopt this time. The weather is beautiful where I am too, so I count my blessings!

Hi Love and like,
You don't have to have someone install the google popup blocker, just search for <google popup blocker> and download.
You don't have to live with the dropdown that tells you that a popup has been blocked.
You can turn it off. See "tools", "options".
