Statia-have you had ANY sunny skies down there lately? Perhaps you should do the mainland for the next couple of months!

That is OK, Statia honey, we here at the SunnyVale Farm for the Hurricane Harrassed, don't mind hearing about storms. We just sit here quietly on the porch and take our meds when the nice nurse comes around.
Ooops, they caught me on their computer again, so you stay safe honey and when this season is over and they send me home, I will talk to you
love, Scarlett

Yikes, is Scarlett in the funny farm? Statia, maybe, just maybe, if you don't post them on Fodors then they just might not exist. I'm beginning to see a pattern here...

I hope for your sake and everyone else at the mercy of this terrible weather beast, will be able to relax soon and not experience anymore loss and damage.

Actually, Tadoori Girl, this is the first one I've originated a thread about, but you might be right. Perhaps we should just all ignore "them."

Scarlett, can I join you on those meds? The Pinot Grigio just isn't doing it for me anymore.

Not to make light of the situation, but should I make a toast to Karl?

Karl? Is that his name? I think I'll burn one in his memory. I believe he's dying a slow death in the eastern Atlantic as I write this.

Statia, we'll need your cooperation in this. So toast him goodbye. No hello toasting allowed.

You got it, Tandoori Girl. Good riddance, Karl!....or possibly Karl. Although, I don't know how much help I can be. Maybe I should get some of these islander witchcraft folks after him.

I might be on my way to the funny farm ... being so tempermental and all ~

Statia, I hope to hear from you before we leave on Monday and that you and I can both gloat over the lack of hurricanes in our forecast

Well, I'm really thinking Jeanne is no threat, but now Karl. That's another matter. Notice how so far it's been the male hurricanes this season that were the biggies?

Nevermind. I guess Frances was supposed to be a female name, since they alternate. But I always thought the female version was Francis and the male version was Frances. Guess not.

Yes, that's right. The male is Frances. But I think Karl is not a biggie wiggie but a teenie weenie.

Haha, Karlo, you're a teenie weenie. Patrick, that must be the ultimate insult for him, to be called a teenie weenie. You know how you men are.

Scarlett, sorry about calling you tempermental. What I meant to say is that you have the fire of life inside of you, a wonderful thing that burns with passion. Don't be mad at me.

Tandoori Girl, I am seldom mad at anyone or at least never for long..

My brother called tonight and asked if we had started building an ark yet..sigh..I think a Bunker is a better idea!

Remember the Ark thread LOL...
Stay safe everyone

OK, if they alternate male and female names alphabetically (which they do), explain why Frances was between Earl and Gaston. They must have meant Frances as a female name. How weird!
