What to do on car trip between San Gimignano and Camogli

My family (husband + children aged 15, 13, 11) have a few weeks in Italy. Most of the trip is planned out however, I would love some suggestions for what we can see / do on our road trip between San Gimignano and Camogli. It isn't a particularly long travel day and we have a car so should have time to explore. I am certainly interested in some scenic driving and perhaps a winery. Any suggestions would be most welcomed.

You could easily turn a relatively short travel day into a very long one...

Will you have already visited Volterra, Pisa, Lucca...?

For a scenic drive, we enjoyed the drive from Lucca to Castelnuovo di Garfagnana and then from CdG to Pietrasanta. Both CdG and Pietrasanta are interesting. CdG is a charming river town with a fortress. Pietrasanta feels like an open-air sculpture museum. You could easily spend some time (lunch?) in either/both.

Hello Jean. No we don't have Lucca, Volterra or Pisa on the itinerary. The options you have suggested sound lovely. I will look into them!
