I just read Theresa10's (I loved Rome!) report on their big family trip and it's one of the best I've read. (and really long...)

Thanks for your kind comments on my NY trip reports. We had builders working at home in the 2 months leading up to Christmas so I simply couldn't find the time to work on my 2nd report. One on my New Year resolutions is to get back to work on it, however, so keep your eyes open!

There have been many good ones, so it's hard to pick out a "best". For an exceptional writing style and lovely descriptions (plus lots of useful information) I like OReilly's (Ger's) reports. She did a wonderful one on the Dordogne.
