I'm in a chat room related to DPChallenge, a photog site I have been a member of for a couple of years.

A bunch of us just chat about all sorts of stuff - usually not photographically related.

One of my friends is teasing and saying she has to learn to pimp her prints as well as I do - I'm pushing sales hard right now as part of a project to raise funds for the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation.

And the conservation has now changed to fairy tales and the difference between modern versions and the original, darker ones.

Leaving the kids with a sitter tonight to go to a "shrimp peel" with some of DH's colleagues. Which wine goes best with "peeled shrimp"? hmmmmm....

I am getting ready to go to out to a Tapas bar and have sangria and good food to celebrate a friends b-day!

But, as I type this I am on hold with the car body shop. They have misplaced the insurance check, and I have been w/o car for 2 months, ughh. A 200 year Oak fell on it and crushed it......

Jocelyn, yum about the shrimp! How about a nice crisp white like a Pinot Grigio or a Sauvignon Blanc?

Now I'm home and with cocktail in hand, about to start straightning up my house for Sunday bbq which grew from just one couple to a couple more...tomorrow we'll deal with the yard!

From Seattle, just waiting to leave the office in a few minutes. Finally nearly over time change and jet lag caused by return from Switzerland trip last Sunday evening (boo hoo).
