The moderators seem to be better at catching them and shutting down very quickly. But they still sit there, blocking legitimate posts and interactions of actual forum members.

Not sure why they just aren;t removed automatically.

It seems these posts are getting deleted pretty quickly, but they often show up in the list of recent posts even after they have been deleted.

As for the idea that posts containing non-latin characters should automatically be rejected, as a regular poster on the Asia forum, let me say that would eliminate many important posts. It is common for posts on the Asia forum, especially the China forum, to have words or phrases in Chinese that people can print out and use. Likewise, we get posts with Thai, Japanese, and Korean words and phrases that are invaluable.

I'm not sure how these nuisance posts are "blocking legitimate posts and interactions of actual forum members." Certainly they are a distraction.
