Weight limit on Olympic Air carryon

Does anyone know the weight limit for carry on luggage for Olympic? I see that the size limit is 23 x 36 x 56 cm, but I am uncertain if they have a weight test as well. What has your experience been? We would really like to avoid the baggage hassle on the Athens arrival. Thanks.

I was surprised but it is not on the ticket--just the dimensions. Perhaps I'll give a call and update on the site.

I just talked to Olympic in NYC, and was told that the limit per passenger is 18 pounds, which is about 8.25 kilos.

Thanks so much brotherleelove--I don't know if we can make it through on that but we are going to try. Many thanks.

For what it's worth, I have never had Olympic check weight on carry-ons or even express any interest in looking at anyone's carry-ons.

I've had just the opposite experience. Even though my bag was under the weight requirement and was the proper size, I was once forced to check my carryon by a very rude ticket agent in a bad mood who wouldn't listen to reason.

Eleni and Brotherlee--thanks for your answers--will hope Eleni's experience is the one out of JFK--don't care about the return as we have to go through customs anyway and wait for our next plane.
