Wedding at Santo Winery in 3 weeks time, anyone know what it's like??

Hi there,
We are flying to Santorini on 17th May and getting married on 21st(hopefully!) at Santo Winery. Does anyone have any info about it, I have seen a couple of (not very good) photos . Also I have booked a table at Vanilias for a small reception as I have read that it's good?
Thank you

Also we are looking for a romantic hotel to spend a night in. I love the look of Sun Rocks, Katikies and Perivolas but these are booked. Does anyone know of anywhere else? Thanks

Best of luck to you! I got married elsewhere in Santorini last September and loved it - you will too. Santo winery has a great location, right on the cliffs for a lovely sunset. there are some more photos on www.weddingsinsantorini.com if you go to the "photos and testimonials" part of the website. there they have photos of past weddings in santorini some of which were in santo winery.

I know people who attended a wedding there and they said it was lovely. Unfortunately I can't help you on the restaurant but am sure others can. Check previous posts on this website for accommodation in Santorini - I think there have been discussions previously about alternatives to Katikies / Perivolas.

Ness1dee-Here's a link to more good hotels on Santorini.

Consider the Esperas, Santorini Princess Hotel and Spa, Chromata and others.

Thanks JFlorides and Brotherleelove. I have spent all day scouring the net for accomodation. I loved the look of Santorini Princess. Have also discovered Iliovasilema and Anastasis both in Imerovigli. Do you know anything about these? Thank you

We arrive on Santorini on May 21st, and are booked into the Volcano View Villas. I have read very positive reviews of the VVV on this site.
