Hi BigHead,

I don't think the Jardi has a website.

I think you're right in saying that it generally gets good comments & although I've never stayed there I've seen it & it's in a nice location.

There have also been postings here in the past about their apparent reluctance to reply to e-mails - try a search (above) under "Jardi".

We went to Barcelona last October and we stayed in barceloneta, in a double room with bathroom. Check this and others out on Freestanza.com. They were cheap, clean and heated. paying somewhere around 25euros pppn

Sorry Bob4, but that website is for the Hotel Jardi in Lleida, not the one in Barcelona.

The website is http://www.hoteljardi-barcelona.com/

But it looks like they increased their price already.

Hi BigHead

We stayed in the Hotel Jardi a couple of years ago. I don't think they had a website then either.

It is really perfectly located. Very central but in a beautiful and quite little square opposite a Church. There was a wedding whilst we were there - it was stunning.

Staff were really friendly and helpful and rooms were clean but ours was TINY!

I would certainly recommend it based on our experience.

Have a lovely time in Barcelona, it's wicked!
