We leave for Paris tomorrow... what should we pack?
Hi Everyone,
It looks like Paris in Feb. is in the 40's - 50's, with slight change of rain. Has anyone gone in Feb before? Did you get hot in the museums? Should we layer, or were you fine in a tshirt, jeans and light coat?
Also, we are taking dressy clothes for Valentine's dinner, but other than that, we have no idea where we will be in proximity to our hotel come dinner time each night. Will we be able to find sit down restaurants where jeans are acceptable?
Thank you!

Yes, we were just in Paris, and I just dressed the same way I would for work - office casual, including jeans on some days. If coat check was readily accessible, I checked my coat at museums. I wouldn't wear just a T-shirt, but you would be fine with either a long-sleeved shirt, a blouse, or a T-shirt and sweater.
We went to really casual restaurants, and were fine with what we were wearing.

get a grip here -- haven't you ever been in a place where the temperature was in the 40s or 50s? Surely you have sometime in your life, what did you wear?
Yes, you will be able to sit down to eat in jeans. There are lots of cafes in Paris where people are not usually dressed up, but even if others are, you do not have to be. If you are using the term "restaurant" to mean a fancy, expensive place, I would suggest you get some nicer clothes than jeans and a Tshirt. I don't know what the jeans look like, but you are going to wear something other than a Tshirt to Paris, aren't you? Women don't wear Tshirts out much at night.
