I wonder if it would work on my dog's arthritis? I stopped using it because of the warnings on the package.

"Tom, Your advice about this magic cream is continuing to benefit many."

Remember, I'm not a doctor, I just play one on the Fodor's board. I actually picked up a tube in Olomouc, Czech Republic last year. I have used it on a couple of occasions and will be packing it for my trip to DC. I'm glad my pain had some benefits for others. Usually, Tracy just says I am a pain.

An old thread, I know, but I am in Paris right now and told my aunt I would bring her back some magic cream for her knee. I found Voltaren Actigo 1% gel at a couple of different pharmacies. Both were right around 6 euro. I am just curious if this is the right strength. I looked at the picture maitaitom had on his website but I couldn't make out the strength. If this is the right stuff, then I'll go back and get a couple more tubes.

Beautiful weather today in Paris!

Thanks for your help!

tracilee-I bought some of that in Nice a couple of weeks ago. I hurt my shoulder and that's what the pharmacist sold me. Then I went back the next day to get more and they told me to try this one: Tevalgie spray. It is 4% of the same ingredient as Voltaren. Seems to work pretty good.

The Voltaren EmulgeI I have I bought in Greece for 3.5E for a 100 g tube of 1% diclofenac.

I have checked online and have not found any Voltaren Gel other than 1%.

Just bought 3 tubes in London and am almost out! Have to buy bigger ones in November. ALso try to get some Nuprofen Plus..200 mg Ibuprofen and 1/4 gr codeine per tablet. 2 of those and 2 200 mg ibuprofen and no more knee or shoulder pain to awaken me at night!

I have checked for the gel online and you can get it from Canada but it requires an RX so I will be stocking up@!

The spray that I got in Nice is 4% diclofenac de sodium. I was told it is the same thing as Voltaren only stronger.

Hi K,

>.there are no anti-inflammatory creams in the States ?

There are. Some of us like Voltaren, but it is Rx only in the US.
