There are also official visits a couple of times of year, using one of the old Sprague trains.

Wow!. I think it must be Crois rouge that you can see between Mabillon and Sevres Babylon, right? I have always been fascinated by it. I thought I once saw it as the background for some fashion shoot that I saw in a magazine. And to think that once I finally managed to get into Val du Grace church that I'd checked off just about everything on the Paris list. This opens a whole new world.!!

Out in my neighborhood, metro stations are never abandoned in cold weather.

I have a fascination for these kind of "abandoned" or derelict buildings and places. I found this website where the artist has an Abandoned Buildings Project" and a book that can be bought.
