Vienna or Prague

Hi Guys

I finally got my self some free time and I can't seem to decide on where to go. I want to go to either Prague or Vienna but really can't decide between the two. I love site seeing and historical stuff. I have about 5 days in all and want to go somewhere that will offer a bit of site seeing and good places to take photographs.

Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated cos I am really struggling to decide.

If you have 5 days, you might be able to see both quickly.

Personally I enjoy Vienna better, but there might be just more photograph opportunities in Prague. Churches, towers, bridges, and even crowd.

Prague is beautiful but 5 days seems a little bit too much, unless you decide to take some daytrips to the outskirts.
Vienna is a bigger town, not as picturesque but with nice museus and palaces. If you wnat to stick with only one city Vienna might be a better option.

I spent 5 nights in Prague... loved it and could have spent more time there!

Recommend trips to Cesky Krumlov and Terezin.

Also, spent 4 nights in Vienna which is very nice, but Prague gets my vote!

I have been to both and liked them both very much. Prague is definitely more of a party town with a great music scene. There's tons to do and the architecture is beautiful. If you like museums and palaces, Vienna may be a better option for you.

If I had to make a choice between Prague and Vienna I would chose Budapest. I found it to be more culturally intensive as well as offering multiple photo opportunities...particularly at night.
