venice transporation costs

Can anyone tell me how much it costs for transportation from the venice airport to the cruise ship docks?

About 80E by water taxi.

About 6E by bus.

Do you know where your ship will be?

no, i don't. we're considering a costa cruise.

Hi dp,

Find out from Costa which basin your ship will dock in.

It will make a difference as to how you will get to it.

water taxi is the way to go . there is no confusion. we took the taxis directly to our hotel. hi ira i am back on the forum . we had a lovely two weeks in italy. thanks to you and all of the fodorites. now we are off to waikiki in may. any suggestions?. glad to be back!!!!

I will contact Costa tomorrow to find out exactly which basin it will dock in.
80E per person sounds extremely high, though...

80E is for the water taxi, not per person.

If you have to get to Staz. Marittima your quickest option will be taxi from the airport (- about € 35).
