venice to milan trains
I'm a little perplexed. I've checked the train service from Venice to Milan and there doesn't seem to be any early trains. I need to be in Milan late morning.
Since you can only check schedule for 60 days, does anyone know if the trains run in the morning in Aug. and Sept.
My other choice would be to take a bus from Marco Polo Airport to the Milan Central station. My final destination is Zurich, but we don't want to arive in Zurich at 11 p.m.
Any suggestions.

Presently there are lots of them (06:20, 06:58, 07:50, 08:32 & 08:58); take you pick. Trenitalia usually publishes schedules 60 day so check later for Aug 11 for exact timing. I can guarantee with 99.9% probability that morning trains will operate.

The train schedule doesn't change much. For example, for 11/27, according to reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en
IC 9701 6:20 Venezia SL - 8:55 Milano Centrale
EC 14 9:10 Milano Centrale - 12:51 Zurich HB
IC 9708 7:50 Venezia SL - 10:25 Milano Centrale
EC 16 11:10 Milano Centrale - 14:51 Zurich HB
IC 9712 8:58 Venezia SL - 11:25 Milano Centrale
EC 18 13:10 Milano Centrale - 16:51 Zurich HB
even 60 days out, Trenitalia releases the schedule slowly.

RailEurope web site don't nearly list all trains that run just ones they can sell tickets on. For the best IME site for schedules for all trains in Europe go to the German rail site - www.bahn.de - simple and easy to use IME - a good way to get to the English schedule page is to go to the home page of www.budgeteuropetravel.com and click on the link 'best online European train timetable (or some such wording) and this brings you to the English page of the Wunderbar German rail schedule page - a reason I reference this home page link is that it also gives several very useful tips on fully using the bahn.de site that may not be apparent at first use.

Site that you want is http://trenitalia.com/. I wouldn't buy from raileurope; their mark up quite high. Present trenitalia price for Venice to Zurich is 89.50 euro (and it may go up in the summer) It's probably cheaper and faster to fly with EasyJet and then take train to Zurich.
Also train tickets are very expensive in Switzerland so if you plan to take more trains there then you might consider buying Half-Fare card -(non resident version) (all tickets 50% off for 1 month) for 99CHF https://www.sbb.ch/mct/wi/shop/b2c/artikelspezSA05.do or Swiss Pass 4 days (4 days min) for - 260CHF https://www.sbb.ch/mct/wi/shop/b2c/artikelspezSA05.do

I have fai success with this website:
http://www.ferroviedellostato.it/homepage_en.html
I don't think that the train schedules between big places, like Venice and Milan, would change much with the seasons.
