Hi all

So many of you were so helpful when I was planning our October trip to Venice; thanks again and again.

I actually have a report started on my desktop, but while I finish it, I thought I would offer these pictures.

The Venice Biennale was an incredible experience, and many pics are from there, as well as Torcello, Burano and a few from Murano.

I highly recommend the Biennale for any lovers of contemporary art.

Beautiful photos. I really liked the ones of the kids playing and riding their bikes in the Piazza. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys; I passed your compliments on to DH. We really liked sitting in that piazza, watching the kids; I'll bet we were there for over an hour. Now for that trip report.

thank you for the quick trip back to my favorite city in the world! It's now been more than 1 year since I spent 9 days there, and I can honestly say that I miss it every day...

The song may say "I left my heart in San Francisco", but I left mine in Venice!

Also, I love to take photographs and took 1000s while in Venice and it's always fascinating how we can be in the same location and still see it in different, that's one of the things I love about photography.
