Have found a junior suite w/canal view at Locanda ca' le Vele for 170 euro in August for 4 nights. I'm not opposed to staying here, but I would like to have a few choices.

Any recommendations for under 150 euro per night?

Located in Dorsoduro, 50 meters or so from the Ca'Rezzonica vaporetto dock.

We stayed at the Hotel Galleria in May of 2005 and really enjoyed it. It's also has good reviews still on tripadvisor and the rates are under 170 Euros. The rooms are small but charming and breakfast is served in your room. It's right on the Grand Canal beside the Accademia Bridge. It can be nosy however as the vaparetto stops near by but with the windows closed you cannot hear it. But since you are going in August this could be a problem as there is no air conditioning to date.
