Vall de Nuria railway
Hi. Has anyone been on this railway? We are trying to understand the best way to do it. We will be arriving by car. Should we do the whole trip - from Ribes-Enllac to Nuria and back. Or is it better to get on at Queralbs? I can’t find information about how long it takes? Do you just get off at Nuria, walk around and take another train back?
thanks for any suggestions.

Yes, I've been several times. I've done the whole trip from Ribes to Nuria, but I stopped on the way back at Queralbs, also on the rail line. The Nuria sanctuary has a cafeteria but it's´ very basic food. And there is a hotel.
There´s a cute bistro in Queralbs, "el Racó de Cal Litus".
The direct train from Ribes to Nuria takes 40 min. The distance is 12.5 km. It´s a spectacular ride. Many people in summer hike down.
You do just get off at Nuria, look around, take a hike if you wish, and if it's running, take the cable car up for even more spectacular views.https://www.valldenuria.cat/en/winter/rack-railway/timetable-prices/
