Hi jcwpb, could you provide a little more information regarding how much time you'll be spending in Paris (i.e., number of days) and what sorts of things you're interested in? That would make it easier to offer suggestions.

Without knowing any answers to the importnat questions Lutetia asked, I recommend Frenchies for dinner -- great decor, small interior, maybe 20 seats, fabulous food and lovely owner and staff. Make reservations now http://www.blackbookmag.com/guides/details/frenchie

I don't know, a lot of people might think dinner in the Eiffel Tower would be nice for that day (restaurant Jules Verne). It's not cheap.

Sorry for the confusion. I and my girlfriend are going for a week. Going to see as much of the city as possible along with a Versailles trip.

What's your budget for meals? I'm in the process of writing up where we ate, wht we paid etc during our 9 day stay in Paris. If you click on my name u can read the first 4 days of lunch and dinner.

For Valentines dinner, under $1000. Then "normal" daily expenses for bfast, lunch and dinner for all the other days.
