Instead of wondering what the shuttle rates are, just go look:
http://www.parishuttle.com/
It is 17E each for 2 persons, much cheaper than a taxi (which tacks on 2E or more per bag as well).

I think one shuttle's rates are about 23 euro for one person -- that is if you are not part of a couple. It is a lot cheaper rate per person for 2+ on the shuttle, but it becomes less cost-effective. Even at 17 euro each, it becomes more expensive with 3 persons, pretty much. Taxis don't add on 2 euro per bag, though, it's 0,90 euro per bag supplement.

Not that the extra will break the bank, but the RER ticket is valid for the metro. Similarly, when leaving Paris, it is possible to buy a ticket at any metro station that will include the RER leg of the trip to CDG.

You all are great in posting such detailed replies. Thank you so much.
I think I will go with the RER. My hotel is a few minutes from a metro stop ( as are most places in Paris ) and its such experiences which make a trip memorable...thats what I will say before my trip.Hope to repeat that after I come back.
Adios!
