Is anyone aware of any outside restoration planned for the Pantheon? We were there last year this time and it was well underway inside which was somewhat of a disappointment.We splurged and booked at the Albergo del Senato Spring '06 and we would be more than disappointed if there was any construction going on outside that would compromise the view promised.

I was there 3 weeks ago and the inside was finished. No scaffolding.

Ok, I know you're referring to the Pantheon in Rome, Italy. I thought your heading was about the one in Paris, France.

I was there the first of Sept. and no, no scaffolding. Albergo del Senato is an excellent choice-you'll love the rooftop terrace bar-maybe the best in Rome.
