Umbria Cooking class

Hi all -

Spending a week in a Villa with 3 other couples (8 in all) just north of Perugia at the end of July. Looking for a Cooking course we could all do for 1 day. Think we've decide to do it outside of our Villa (so not interested in someone coming to us). Does anyone have any recommendations on a 1 day cooking course? Open to any location that is commutable in Umbria. Thanks for the help!

Cooking class near Assisi

We had a wonderful experience with Letizia Mattiacci. She operates a B&B named Madonna del Piatto. She had us meet in a small specialty shop in Santa Maria Degli Angeli. We learned about and sampled cheeses, salamis and olives then went to her place. We all worked on a 3 course meal then went and had an appetizer and glass of wine while Letizia and staff finished things up and served us the meal.

Have a look at Let's Cook in Umbria in Perugia.I spent 4 days at Raffaella's farm taking cooking lessons and going on excursions she arranged for me such as truffle hunting and a festival in Spello.

I would also recommend a day with Letizia.
