I like the two nights in both Granada and Ronda. I only spent one night in Ronda and while we got to see a lot on the surface, we didn't get to enjoy it fully.

And, if you're into horseback riding, there's a great sunrise tour in Ronda that will pick you up at your hotel.

I'm spending two nights in Granda (though the first night, won't arrive until 7 or 8 PM) and then spend a morning/afternoon in Cordoba before going to Sevilla.

Then maybe after leaving Sevilla, stop by Ronda for a couple of hours on the way to Malaga before flying back from AGP.

I would think Cordoba would take precedence over Ronda?

I would recommend 2 nights in Granada, and 1 in Ronda. As others have posted, the Alahambra will take all day. We did not even spend the night in Ronda, just a few hours .. walked around, had lunch (paella with ink), then off to visit El Churro Gargancha (sp?). Just one note from experience .. when lookinng at road signs .. Ronda with a capital R is the city . ronda with a lower case r is a roundabout . trust me .. when you are tired and in unfamiliar surroundings .. this becomes valuable infomation

What exactly is a roundabout? And is this true in all cities/towns?

A roundabout is a circulaar intersection ... yes, they are EVERYWHERE! If you are not used to them, they take a little practice .... in the US I most ercently saw them in Washington DC. The beauty of a roundabout is .. if you miss your turn, you can just drive around the circle again!

Enjoy .... do you speak any spanish?

No spanish except pleasantries. A problem?

So if the town is written in lowercase it is a roundabout- got it! thanks very much

it is not a problem that you do not speak Spanish .. it is just a little easier getting directions from people if you do .. but you will be fine.

Have a great time ... we did not do this, but my cousin did ... if you can go to the bottom of the gorge in Ronda .. I've seen her pictures and it looks really cool.
