Tuscany accomodations

Need help deciding between 3 places for stay with family. Anyone heard of/stayed at any of these: Il Melone outside of Cortona, Agriturismo Cretaiole outside of Pienza, or Sovigliano in the Chianti region outside of Tavarnelle? Thanks so much!

I don't know any of those specific hotels, but Pienza will be the most central location of the three for day trips in southern/central Tuscany.

I concur--always pick location first and Pienza is the better location. Also look at www.letraverse.com[or.it]
Have you seen reviews for Cretailoe at slowtrav.com?

I stand corrected--it was written in a trip report I read, but it was positive. It is very good value since you deal direct with the owner. Good luck !
