trenitalia web site

Someone please help. I am booking train tickets on the trenitalia web site - June 19, 2007, traveling from Venice to Florence. I know that there are several trains but they do not show up as options. I have tried to figure out what the logic is and so far, it appears that I get a complete selection of trains every day through June 9, 2007, but the minute I change the date to any date beyond that, the train options are drastically reduced. I booked (with no problems) Florence to Rome on June 21, 2007. Any ideas besides waiting until we arrive in Italy?

Trenitalia website can be finicky. I've also read that they've been trying to load summer schedules and that some trains aren't getting listed until 30 days before departure. Some people say they have better luck booking during Italian weekday work hours. You might also check to see if there are strikes scheduled that day.

I just went to www.bahn.de and discovered the same thing to be true for the timetables there. They are complete through June 9 and limited after that. New timetables will take effect throughout most of Europe on June 10. As kybourbon says, they're probably still in the process of being loaded on the Trenitalia site.

How far in advance will the october schedules be available?
I need to book a specific time, so I want to do this in advance.
That is quite a user un-friendly website.

dperry - You can't book more than 60 days in advance. If you want to see and price available trains, enter a date within the next 30 days and you will see what's available. The prices won't change in October, but there might be a few less trains scheduled.
