Christina: It was only us that they brought over the coats for and it was about 10:45 so there wasn't exactly a line waiting to get in and eat...yes, it was bizarre and rude.

I like the suggestion to give an address of a hotel or business nearby, excellent suggestion, even just a corner such as St Germain Blvd and Grenelle would have worked fine, , you definately learn things here!

I really enjoyed this report. I also spent a few days in Paris by myself after a few days with a friend last week. And it was a great way to experience the joys of Paris. I only regret that I didn't get to the BHV; I could use some cute new toilet brushes.

Susanna,

Thanks for sharing your report. We were there at the same time as you! Too bad I didn't know it at the time...

I couldn't believe how great the weather was! We were there in May and it wasn't nearly as nice as this Feb. go figure. I'm from the SF area as well, actually Santa Cruz.

Good for you for posting your report. I have yet to start mine and we're now planning a trip to Barcelona for next Feb. which seems to be taking up my travel mind at the moment.

Thanks again, Eileen
