Travel options from Pompeii to Conca Dei Marini
Hello, its a long time since I posted on here, Im a little nervous about it, but here goes!
We are planning a trip to the Amalfi Coast this summer. We are flying to Naples and staying at Conca Dei Marini. We have decided to visit Pompeii on the way as we arrive early that day. Having looked at the train options, we are thinking of taking the Circumvesuviana to Pompeii, then after what will be long and hot hours sightseeing there, think its better to get a taxi from Pompeii to the coast. Does anyone have an idea of the cost of a taxi for this journey? Would it be better to board the train again to go to Sorrento then get a SITA bus from there? Have tried the SITA website but its in Italian only and couldnt make head or tail of it! Many thanks for any help

don't know the taxi prices...but the SITA buses are excellent....and very, very frequent from Sorrento (1-2 per houor, depeding on the time). Your choice all depends on budget
The SITA bus stop though is directly in front of the train station in Sorrento if that helps the choice
If I remember, you just takae the bus towrds Amalfi...and it should be the second to last stop (after Praiano). You can see the scheduale at http://www.sitabus.it/sitabus/campan...uadro-XV-2.pdf it should be pretty straight forward...and I think it is translated at the bottom (as far as codes anyway).
