Transportation from Rome Airport to hotel in Rome

We are a family of four and will be arriving at the Rome airport about noon midweek in February. I have been reading about limo/car services on this site to take us to our hotel. Has anyone used "limoservice Rome" recently? They quote a rate of 52 euros for transportation for 4. This is the best rate that I have found. Any other popular, reliable services? Thanks! Susan

We used this one last spring:
www.limoservicerome.com
The driver was waiting on us when we came through customs with our luggage with a sign with our name. It worked out fine. We used them on our return to the airport.

Also used LimoService last May for late arrival. Was very comforting to have a driver waiting, holding a sign with our name on it for our late night arrival. Did not use for return as we flew home from Milan. We received an e-mail from Andrea (suggest you direct your e-mail to him) when we returned home, asking if the service was okay. Can't ask for more customer concern than that!

We took the train the the RR station upon arrival and took a cab back when departing. With 4 people it costs only a little more by cab.I believe in Jan 2001 we paid 9euro by train and 40 e by cab. Before you get into the cab ask how much. The hotels will arrange a cab and tell how much.chow

There is also a Hotel Shuttle you can use, go to the Hotel Information Desk (there are at least 3) in the arrivals area of the airport. Cost was Euro 10.50 each one way. It ran about every half hour and took about 6-8 in the mini-van. Dropped us at the door. We booked and paid once we arrived at the airport and waited 10 mins until the next run.
Kay

I traveled to Rome in April and used the web site www.guestinitaly.com

They were very prompt about their pick up times and I believe the trip to Leonardo DaVinci aiprort (FCO) was approx. $50.00. I would definitely use them again. I also booked my hotel and a bus tour from Rome to Florence through them.
