Transportation from Paris to CDG Airport and back

Our friends and me(5) will be flying to Milan (roundtrip) for a day of sightseeing and shopping from Paris(CDG),we'll be leaving Paris @ 8:45 AM and will be returning to Paris @ 10:15 PM.
What do you think is the best way to get to CDG Airport and then back to the Hotel in Paris?
Train,Bus,Taxi???

I'd say pick up the Roissy bus-it's easy and convenient. It stops right there across from Opera by the AMEX office. It has space for luggage-and you can pay the driver as you get on-it takes about 55 minutes to get to the airport, depending on traffic.

Or possibly only one taxi if there is a van.
It does fly from CDG? Many inter-Europe flights are from Orly, I think.

As you are returning the same evening, I assume you have no luggage to check. In that case, I unreservedly recommend that you ride the Métro to the nearest RER station, take RER B to CDG - and reverse the process in the evening.

The round-trip fare will be 16,20€ each - including any Métro portion. If you are already planning to acquire a 2-zone Carte Orange for your stay in Paris, then a 5-zone instead would cover your airport transfers at a slightly lower outlay than the 2-zone plus single tickets to CDG. Plus you can get to Disneyland and/or Versailles "free" with the 5-zone.
