Transport from Naples central to Positano

Has anyone an idea of the cost of a car / taxi / from Naples Centrale stazione to Positano?

Unless you have a particualr dislike of public transport or need to get there in a hurry - the train to Sorrento and bus to Positano are efficient. We did this in June last year.

Depending on the time of the year, you can take a taxi to Molo Beverello (Naples port) and aliscafo to Positano. The direct aliscafo is only in the summer. Do a google search for Aliscafo from Naples to Positano.

The direct hydrofoil service Ann mentions runs twice daily, with departures from Napoli Beverello at 08.45 and at 13.40.

Journey time: 65 mins
Fare: € 9
