Transfer from Gare de Lyon to Holiday Inn Auteuil

We are 4 adults wanting a transfer from Paris, Gare de Lyon to the Holiday Inn Auteuil. Not interested in metro or public transport as we are coming off of a lengthy cruise and are not travelling as light as I would like.

I assume that we would need 2 taxi's. Could someone advise on approx. cost.

Thanks greatly,

You should find minivan taxis in the ranks at Gare de Lyon that will accommodate all four of you.

As an aside, Auteuil is a cute area more should visit for its architecture, and no place with a Metro station is really too far away from the rest of Paris, in this case via the 10 or even the 9 Metro line. It is, however, clearly not in an area where the main attractions are located, so every day will likely involve using the Metro.

No, you don't need two taxis. The Taxis Parisiens, which are the only ones you should use, have ample station wagons and minivans.

At nytraveler

Yes we want to stay there. 4 free nights on points for 2 rooms is well worth the minor inconvenience of the metro.

The hotel's website mentions a 2€ "shuttle" fare per person. Have you looked into that?

Oops! The shuttle is from Gare du Nord, not your arrival point.

Enjoy Auteuil. We spent nearly 5 weeks there in an apartment and loved it. Beautiful architecture, great outdoor food market, lots of cafes and shops, a good selection of restaurants, a nice non-touristy feel. Didn't bother us at all to jump on a metro or bus to go to other parts of the city. We used to do early morning walks from the apartment down to Mirabeau, across the bridge (past the "other" Statue of Libery), then wind through the 15th and 7th for breakfast at a cafe (we EARNED those buttery croissants). Or stroll through the residential streets up to Passy.
