Along with many other regulars here in this forum, I have preferred to arrange for a driver/pick-up from FCO, but it depends on "how many are you". I believe that regular taxi is a good option also, though sometimes there is a very long line at the taxi stand.<BR><BR>If you (or others with airport questions) don't already have this site, let me recommend http://www.airwise.com/airports/index.html - - which in turn will take you to http://www.airwise.com/airports/europe/FCO/index.html<BR>- - and from there to http://www.airwise.com/airports/europe/FCO/FCOtran1.html<BR><BR>Details on the train, bus and other options are listed there. Many people do use the hourly train service to Termini, and take a taxi (or walk, to some hotels) from there.<BR><BR>Best wishes,<BR><BR>Rex<BR><BR>

There is non stop train service from Fiumicino Airport to Roma Termini every half hour leaving at 7 and 37 minutes past the hour during the day. The trip takes 31 minutes. I believe the fare is about $7 or $8. A taxi cab will probably cost about $75. It is about a 10 minute walk from the Airport terminal to the train platform, up and down a few escalators. It's very do-able, unless you have a lot of luggage.
